Al-Duhail on his official website announced the dismissal of Hernan Crespo as the head coach of the first team.

The reason for the release of the contract on the other teams was the recent decline in the team’s results and the decrease in the chances of qualifying for the upcoming round of the AFC Champions League after the defeat of the Iranian Persepolis at home (0:1).

Crespo won Al-Duhail from the beginning of 2022, and last season won the Qatar Championship, the Qatar Cup and the Qatar Stars Cup, in parallel with the progress to the AFC Champions League semi-finals.

It was previously reported that the new head coach of Al-Duhail would be PSG's great Kermanic Christophe Galtier, who, having already signed a contract, will become an official representative.
