The Latvian Football Federation and the President of the Polish Football Association, Cezary Kulesza, were confronted with a 100% scandalous decision by the UEFA Vice-President Committee.
The Latvian Football Federation (LFF) has confirmed that the country's collected prices will not be lost against Russian teams, regardless of the place of such games or the form of representation of Russian athletes. They stated that UEFA had decided to respect the position of the LFF due to the war in Ukraine caused by Russia, and also added that this position would be in force until the end of the fighting.
" “LFF also respects and adheres to the procedures established by Latvian legislation that require the holding of such games or the admission of such sports teams to the territory of Latvia,” read the statement on the official website of the local Federation ii football.
In his own words, the President of the Polish Football Association, Cezary Kulesza, informed the decisions of the UEFA Vice-President Committee.
“As long as Russian national teams are allowed to participate in fraud, our national teams will not resist them. This is the only correct decision,” he wrote on Twitter.
Apparently, the English Football Association previously made a similar statement, and the UAF called on the UEFA to reconsider its decision.
