The team of Unai Melgosi had a bad start in the selection for Euro 2024.

The Ukrainian U-21 team beat the Pivnichnaya Ireland team thanks to a goal from Vitaliy Roman. The winning ball was scored in the other half.

Unai Melgosi's team, having qualified for the Youth Euro 2025, now sits for the third meeting. In the upcoming round there will be a game against Luxembourg.
