Today, April 12, the XXX Conference of the Professional Football League of Ukraine was held near Kiev. The press service of the PFL tells about it.
At the meeting, it was decided to confirm the warehouse of the participants and the format of the First and Other Leagues of Ukraine for the season-2022/23. Also, the regulations and calendar were looked at.
Over 20 clubs that have lost the opportunity of full-fledged functioning through the military aggression of Russia, are speeded up by the option of time-limited participation in the PFL promotion for the 2022/23 season.
After consultation with all clubs, it was decided to confirm the warehouse of participants in the championship of Ukraine from football among the teams of the First League (2 groups - group A and group B) according to the territorial principle.
Let's guess that the First League 30 years ago, in 1992, was already held in this format. In the 2022/23 season, it is planned to hold the Persha League in two stages - two groups of all teams, two stakes in 14 rounds, 56 matches in the skin group in the first stage (112 matches in total).
At another stage, 1-4 months, groups form a group for a break in the UPL with a point earned, taken at the first stage in games among themselves. And 5-8 months form a group for the right to play in the First League with urakhuvannyam іgor among themselves at the first stage.
At the other stage, Group A teams will play only matches with Group B teams in two stakes, 32 matches in the skin group, teams will play 8 matches each.
A total of 176 matches will be played in the championship. One team to play 22 matches in the championship. The two best teams get the right to a direct ticket to the Premier League, the third and fourth teams of the First League play the play-off matches for promotion in the class - the 3rd month of the First League from the 14th month of the Premier League, the 4th month of the First League from the 13th UPL.

The decision of the Other League was accepted, calling on that contribution, which division had built in the rest of the years in the development of domestic football.
Vast (Mykolaiv), Niva Buzova (Kyiv region), Khust City (Transcarpathian region) and Zvyahel (Novohrad-Volinsky, Zhytomyr region) will become the newcomers of the PFL campaign.
In addition, three teams of the First League announced their duplicate teams for the championship of the Other League. In such a rank, the other line also plays Metalurg-2 (Zaporizhzhya), Kremin-2 (Kremenchuk) and Polissya-2 (Zhytomyr).
11 Other League teams play against two stakes. The first place advances in the class directly, the other place plays a stick match from the first place of the First League.
FC Desna and FC Mariupol have confirmed participation in the UPL for the 2023/24 season, playoff matches will not be held. Number of UPL teams increased to 18.
In times, only one of the nominated clubs confirms the fate - the same team that sent the 14th place to the UPL and the team that sent the third place to the other stage of the First League campaign in the Champions group, take part in the playoff stage for the right to play in the UPL. The playoff stage consists of two matches, one on the skin field of the participating teams.
