The President of Shakhtar sent a message to the club from the capital.

President of Donetsk Shakhtar Rinat Akhmetov greeted Dynamo Kyiv on the 95th National Day.

" The glorious history of Dynamo Kyiv is the history of great victories and achievements, the dozens of won trophies and successes in the international arena, the reason for the football world and the recognition of millions of people. Dynamo has long been a symbol of not only Ukrainian football, but also a strong independent Ukraine.

The history of Dynamo was written by a rich generation of eminent scientists, talented engravers, coaches and practitioners of the club, but one day, all these fates were left invariable - the practice of preserving the glorious dynamic traditions and reaching the greatest goals.

Ambition and hope to win have always united Dynamo and Shakhtar, and also ensured the beautiful super-numbers of our clubs on the football field.

Shakhtar and Dynamo are the color of the Ukrainian championship, and our matches in Donetsk at the Donbass Arena and in Kiev at the Olympia are the best and most memorable games in the history of clubs.

Today we all live in a well-equipped head office, sleeping for our country of victory. I am very happy that soon Dynamo and Shakhtar will again play at the stadiums of a peaceful, prosperous Ukraine and hold even more rich matches for the filling of the stands.
