UEFA postponed the Champions League final from St. Petersburg to Paris

Stade de France will host the UEFA Champions League final on 28 May.

The UEFA Committee on February 25 held a meeting later this year due to the serious escalation of the security situation in Europe. UEFA press service informs about it.

UEFA praised the decision to postpone the Champions League final in the 2021/22 season from St. Petersburg to the Stade de France near Paris. Gra will be, as planned, by Saturday, May 28.

UEFA honored the decision of the President of France Emmanuel Macron for his encouragement and support of the postponement of the most prestigious football championship in European club football at the hour of an unprecedented crisis.



Together with France, UEFA will continue to support the richness of the richness of the affected sides in order to ensure the safety of the football players and their families in Ukraine, as they flock to the greedy human suffering and ruin.

At this year's UEFA meeting, it is also clear that Russian and Ukrainian clubs and national teams, like taking part in UEFA tournaments, will play their home matches at neutral stadiums until further notice.
