Only Coutinho and Van Dijk managed to sell more in January.

The €80m transfer of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina to Juventus was not only the most expensive in the current transfer window, but also the third most expensive in the history of winter transfers, according to Football Italia.

More than a 22-year-old Serbian was paid in January only for Philippe Coutinho and Virgil Van Dijk in 2018.

For the Brazilian, Barcelona paid Liverpool 135 million euros, which, in turn, allowed the Reds to pay about 84.

6 million Southampton for the Dutchman..

At the same time, this transfer was the second most expensive in history between Italian clubs (regardless of the time of year) after the transfer of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli to Juventus for 90 million euros.

By the way, the salary of 7 million euros, which Vlahovic will receive annually for five and a half years, is the highest in the history of the club after the one that once relied on Cristiano Ronaldo.
