President of Dynamo Kyiv Ihor Surkis commented on the rumors in the press regarding the fact that he contacted the former coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko and sees him as a future replacement for Mircea Lucescu.

“I’ll tell you frankly: I didn’t consider Shevchenko the head coach of Dynamo. I had no reason to. I have an active coach with whom the contract has been extended until the summer of 2024. Never say no.
