In the match of the 13th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Zorya won a crushing victory over Metalist 1925 with a score of 6: 1, and striker Oleksandr Gladkyy scored two goals in the Luhansk team.
For Gladky, this double became the 18th in the UPL, which made it possible to repeat the record figure.
Earlier, the same achievement in the Ukrainian championship was set by Sergey Rebrov, Marko Devich, Evgeniy Seleznev and Andrey Yarmolenko.
It is worth noting that the 34-year-old player was distinguished by doubles in such clubs as Kharkiv (1), Shakhtar (8), Dnipro (1), Karpaty (3), Chernomorets (1) and Zarya (4).
This season, Gladkiy played 13 matches in a black-and-white shirt, scoring six goals and three assists.
Earlier it was reported that Gladkiy took 7th place in the list of the top scorers of the UPL.
