The match of the tenth round of the English Premier League, in which Birmingham Aston Villa hosted London's West Ham at Villa Park, has ended.

The guests traditionally played the second number, but this did not prevent them from creating more chances at the opponent's goal in the first half of the meeting than Dean Smith's team, which bore fruit. At the break, the “hammers” went with an advantage in the score by one goal (1: 2).

The second half began far from the best for Aston Villa, as Ezri Konsa fouled near his own penalty area in the 50th minute, which the referee using VAR regarded as a foul of the last hope and showed the Birmingham defender a straight red card.

Despite the fact that the players of Aston Villa remained in the minority, they continued to play the first number in the hopes of recouping, however, in the final segment of the game, West Ham twice caught the opponent on counterattacks and removed all questions regarding the winner - 1: 4.
