Arsenal have completed signing of the second rookie in the summer transfer window, who will be Anderlecht center midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners settled all bureaucratic issues with the Belgian club to arrange a transfer for the 21-year-old midfielder. Anderlecht will earn 17.5 million euros from the sale of his player, not counting possible bonuses in the future.

Lokonga himself signed a contract with Arsenal until the summer of 2026..

The official announcement will take place when the Belgian midfielder leaves the mandatory quarantine provided by the UK authorities due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is also interesting that for the sake of moving to London Arsenal, Albert Sambi Lokonga refused the offers of two clubs from Italy. What exactly is not specified.

Recall that the first rookie of Mikel Arteta's team this offseason was 21-year-old left-back Nunu Tavares from Benfica.. Arsenal is also in active negotiations with Brighton on center-back Ben White, with whom the terms of the contract have already been agreed..
