At the same time, the teams want to completely refuse payments for two months of footballers' work.

According to the Italian resource Calcio Finanza, at the last meeting of the clubs participating in the Italian Serie A, absolutely all team representatives made a single proposal to the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) to postpone the payment of wages to football players and representatives of coaching staffs for a period of four months.



According to the organizers of this proposal, they need to abandon such an item of expenses from March to June of this year, with its subsequent postponement with an installment plan for the period from late May to early December.

In addition, the clubs sent an appeal to the Italian Football Association with a request to waive salary payments for their teams for the period from June to July 2021, until they are directly involved in the preparation for the new season..

Consideration of these requests will take place at the corresponding meeting of the Federation Council scheduled for May 17.
