The head coach of Atletico Madrid, Diego Simeone, became the best coach of the decade at the club level according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

With Atletico Simeone managed to win La Liga, the Spanish Cup, twice the Spanish Super Cup, the Europa League and the European Super Cup, and twice reached the Champions League final.

The specialist scored 152 points, thus beating Pep Guardiola from Manchester City (144 points) and Jurgen Klopp, who leads Liverpool (105 points).

The top ten includes Jose Mourinho (Tottenham), Massimiliano Allegri, Unai Emery (Villarreal), Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid), Carlo Ancelotti (Everton), Mauricio Pochettino (PSG) and Marcelo Gallardo.

Also note that the list included the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson (13th), Jupp Heynckes (15th), Arsene Wenger (17th) and Laurent Blanc (20th).
