Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward earns the highest salary of any similar position in the Premier League, reports The Times.

At the end of last year, Woodward earned 3.09 million pounds, which allowed him to lead the rankings and again bypass Levy.

Tottenham's director beat a colleague the year before last thanks to a bonus from the club for the commissioning of a new stadium.

Note that only recently has the criticism of Manchester United's transfer policy subsided, which mostly fell to Woodward.
