Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium hosted the Emir Cup final.

Qatar officially opened the fourth of the eight arenas that will host the final tournament of the 2022 World Cup two years later, according to the official FIFA website..

The stadium, with a capacity of 40,000 spectators, hosted the final of the Emir Cup (analogue of the League Cup).

During the world championship, 7 matches are planned in this arena.

During the grand opening, the stadium was attended by His Majesty Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, UEFA President Alexander Ceferin, CONMEBOL President Alejandro Dominguez and other officials.

The final tournament of the 2022 World Cup starts on November 21, 2022, and the final match will take place exactly two years later - on December 18, 2022.
