Real Madrid are interested in Gareth Bale playing in Tottenham.
Gareth Bale, loaned to Tottenham, may return to Real in the summer, but he is unlikely to continue his career in Madrid - says AS.
Gareth Bale's contract with Real is calculated until June 30, 2022, and, according to the Spanish edition, three scenarios are possible.
Since it is imperative for Real to lighten its € 283 million payroll in order to free up funds for possible acquisitions of Mbappe, Kamavinga and Holland, the best option is for Bale to play in Tottenham and then sell him at a higher price (Spurs). At the moment, its value is estimated at 25 million euros.
Option number two is neither the worst nor the best:
Bale remains on loan in Tottenham for another season, while the Londoners fully take on the Welshman's salary (30 million euros per year) or at least continue to pay half of it (15 million), as now.
The worst is if Bale comes back in the summer of 2021 and just gets paid, occasionally appearing on the field (almost no one believes that he will shine again in Real Madrid).
After being loaned to Tottenham, Bale played three matches in the Premier League and the Europa League (1 goal and 1 assist).
