Italian fans will return to stadiums.

The Italian government has allowed fans to attend Serie A fights during the coronavirus pandemic, but under certain restrictions. Football Italia reports with reference to Sky Sport Italia.

According to the source, the maximum admission to the stadium will be one thousand spectators.. This decision has already been taken individually by the regional authorities in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Lombardy.. Italian Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora also followed suit..

Pressure was put on the government, as during the coronavirus pandemic in Italy it was allowed to host events of up to a thousand people in the open air, such as concerts and theatrical performances. Football is no different, although at the moment the government decree only applies to Serie A games.

Fans in stadiums will be required to keep a distance of one meter from each other, wear masks, and check the temperature at the entrance. These restrictions will be in effect until October 7, after which they will be revised based on the latest data on the spread of COVID-19..
