Lazio striker Ciro Immobile won the Golden Boot at the end of the 2019/20 season, becoming the top scorer in Europe in the national championships with 36 goals to his credit.
The successful performances of the 30-year-old Italian could not but arouse interest from other clubs, so the leadership of the “eagles” intends to offer its key striker a new contract with improved conditions in the near future.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Lazio is ready to increase the annual salary of Immobile to 4.5 million euros. The current agreement of the football player with the Roman club is calculated until the summer of 2023.
Recall that Ciro Immobile repeated Gonzalo Higuain's record for the number of goals scored in one season in the Italian Serie A.
