West Ham has decided not to rush to renew the contract of head coach David Moyes, which expires in summer 2021.

According to The Telegraph, the leadership of the Hammers intends to first assess the success and progress of the team in the first half of next season, and only then think about the future of Moyes..

The Scottish specialist agrees with the opinion of the West Ham bosses and will also not consider proposals to update the deal until at least the end of this year..

Note that David Moyes headed the London club for the second time in December 2019, when Manuel Pellegrini left the team due to unsatisfactory results.

The 57-year-old Scotsman failed to radically change the situation for the better, although West Ham managed to avoid relegation from the English Premier League.
