The current contract of midfielder Jose Calejona with Napoli expires on June 30, 2020, and the parties decided not to renew it after seven years of joint cooperation. However, the 33-year-old midfielder may linger in the Neapolitan camp for a few more months.

it, Calejon informed the management about his readiness to play this season, which was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and then leave the club as a free agent.
The Spanish midfielder does not require Napoli any additional payments and bonuses for a short-term extension of the agreement, except insurance payments in case of any health problems.
