CIES: Mbappe - the most expensive football player in the world, Messi is cheaper than Mount

The International Center for Sports Research (CIES) has updated the ranking of the most expensive football players in the world among the five best European championships.

At the top of the top was the striker Paris Saint-Germain Cilian Mbappe, who was estimated at 259.2 million euros. Next come Rahim Sterling, whose value amounted to 194.7 million euros, and Jadon Sancho with a price tag of 179.1 million euros.

Lionel Messi, in turn, is located in 21st place, while Cristiano Ronaldo is content with only 70th position. Argentine and Portuguese are estimated at 100.1 and 62.8 million euros, respectively.

Interestingly, Messi and Ronaldo in this rating lost in value to Mason Mount (€ 102.5 million), Alfonso Davis (€ 133.5 million) and Serge Gnabry (€ 106.8 million).
