UEFA is considering the possibility of holding the “finals of eight” in the Portuguese capital.

European Football Union continues to develop various options for the replay of the current euro season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, in addition to the possible holding of the Champions League final in Lisbon, the Portuguese capital may even play the quarter-final, semi-final and final matches of the Champions League and the Europa League. This is due to the possible refusal of Istanbul to hold a decisive match, where the Champions League final was originally planned, due to economic problems.

UEFA is seriously considering holding a “final eight” in one country in order to reduce the number of flights. It is reported that matches 1/4, 1/2 and finals will be held on a single-match system. In the Portuguese capital, fights are ready to host two stadiums at once - Da Luz and Jose Alvalade.

However, the source does not report where and how the remaining un played matches of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League and Europa League will be played.

Recall that participants in the quarter finals of the Champions League are already Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta, RB Leipzig.

Not played are the return matches Juventus - Lyon (first match - 0: 1), Man City - Real (2: 1), Barcelona - Napoli (1: 1), Bayern - Chelsea (3: 0).

In the Europa League, only the first six matches were played at the stage of the 1/8 finals: Wolfsburg - Shakhtar (1: 2), Olympiakos - Wolverhampton (1: 1), Rangers - Bayer (1: 3), Eintracht F - Basel (0:. Also at the current stage there are two pairs who will play both matches: Sevilla - Roma, Inter - Getafe.
