The star of the Portuguese also took on the financing of three intensive care units.

Turin Juventus and Portuguese national team striker Cristiano Ronaldo joins the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, which has spread throughout Europe.

According to the Daily Mail, the 35-year-old Portuguese, along with his agent Jorge Mendes, made a donation to hospitals in Lisbon and Porto for a total of 1 million pounds (about 1.1 million euros).

These funds will go to the purchase of beds, monitors, fans, infusion pumps and other medical equipment in hospitals.

It is worth noting that, in addition to the charitable contribution, Ronaldo and Mendes will continue to fund three intensive care units for patients suffering from COVID-19.

Recall that earlier there was information that Ronaldo will re-equip its hotels in Portugal to hospitals, but later it turned out that this news is fake.
