The match of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian Premier League ended, in which Lugansk Zarya regained second place in the standings thanks to a minimal victory over Shakhtar (1: 0).

It is worth noting that the Pitmen's midfielder Viktor Kovalenko held the first match in the Ukrainian championship in 2020. The midfielder replaced on the 66th minute instead of Evgeny Konoplyanka.

During the time allotted by the coaching staff, Kovalenko did not manage to distinguish himself by effective actions, and Shakhtar suffered a second defeat in UPL.
