According to Marca, Real Madrid is close to completing the transfer of Ajax central midfielder Donny van de Beek.

The Royal Club will pay about 55 million euros for the football player, and the transfer itself will be held in June 2020.

Nevertheless, reports that the leadership of Real Madrid may change their mind, since the acquisition of van de Beek may be unnecessary. At the moment, the club has Casemiro, Kroos, Modric and Valverde in the midfield center, and in the summer Martin Edegor will return.
