Everton's acting head coach Duncan Ferguson seems to have said goodbye to the team after the League Cup match against Leicester.

" This is a great team spirit, and there is work to do.. The players have given me every ounce of energy that they carried in themselves over the past three games - and I thank them for that. "

" The first two of my fights helped us a lot, and I am proud of the performances of “butterscotch”. But we couldn’t reach the semi-finals of the League Cup - I’m devastated, "

Earlier, the British media reported that the name of the next Everton mentor is already known - they will become Carlo Ancelotti.
