Yuri Maximov became the new head coach of Vorskla, the official website of Poltava residents said.

The contract signed between the club and the mentor is not reported.

50-year-old specialist has already managed to conduct an orientation training with Vorskla.

Recall that on November 14, Vorskla decided to dismiss head coach Vitaly Kosovsky. 46-year-old specialist became the sixth coach who lost his job during the season.

As for Yuriy Maksimov, earlier in Ukraine he coached CSKA, Obolon, Krivbass and Metallurg Donetsk.

His last club was Keshlya, representing the championship of Azerbaijan.
