It was decided to fill the calendar window in the middle of this week in Italy with the holding of matches of the next round, already the tenth in a row, Series A. Pretending to be a leader in the standings, Inter Milan went to a region called Lombardy, in the north of the country, where the team of Antoni Conte had a chance to confront the local Brescia, whose coach is Eugenio Corini at this stage of the season.

The not happy position of the “swallows” in the national championship is unlikely to bring satisfaction to the stands of “Mario Rigamonti”. Brescia settled in third place from the end of the standings as a result of a series of four fights in which it was not possible to score maximum points.

But the rival team Korini, which is located at the opposite end of the competition, could hardly seriously consider the team from Lombardy, as a worthy opponent. Actually, Inter paid for this in the last round, when he could not win a victory in the match against Parma in front of his native stands (2: 2). However, from the last face-to-face confrontations against the “Lioness” the “snakes” ran an unpleasant train. In the 2010/11 season - the previous years of the hosts of this meeting in Serie A - “Nerazzurri" Given the fact that Inter in that draw ended up only six points behind Milan, who finished in first place, it was safe to say that it was Biancoazurri who made a significant contribution to this failure of the opponent in the reporting meeting.

Having marked the advantage at the start of the meeting, the team of Antonio Conte coped with several tasks at once. We’ll be honest, it’s extremely difficult for the Milan club to play in such a schedule, and by the middle of the second half, the “snakes” are openly starting to sag on the “physics”. The logical conclusion from this will be the need to establish control over the game in a short time, simultaneously providing the necessary result. The first to upset the goalkeeper of rivals was trying to Romelu Lukak, but his header after Barella's soft pass from the left flank fell to the side of the left post. An interesting moment - the reporting meeting was the first of the season for the gate guard of Brescia Alfonso.

However, already at the first serious threat to his goal, the goalkeeper of the hosts was out of work. Lautaro Martinez tried to punch from outside the penalty area, and he would hardly have posed a serious threat to other people's possessions with this attempt, if not for the fatal rebound from Chistan’s foot, would not have lit a “candle” over other people's possessions. By the will of fate, the ball went straight for Alfonso's collar, and the guests went together to celebrate the advantage that had formed on the scoreboard.

Inter's defense was far from sinless in this meeting, and although Handanovich had to carry out the bulk of the work in the second half, however, in the first half, Tonali managed to disturb him with a long-range strike. Guests responded to this only with an inaccurate header by de Vrey, on which the events of the first half could be completed.

Almost from the beginning of the second half of the match, Handanovich had to frankly “drag” his team to success. Inter fought back as best he could, but the threat still reached directly to the gate. And just on the line Samir was simply impeccable. Reflexes in the moment with a kick from the “stalls” at the left corner of the goalkeeper performed by Donnarumma, juggling the ball with his hands directly on the “ribbon” after hitting his head from Balotelli at close range - it seemed that the guard of the goal of Inter was simply impossible to outwit. To tell the truth, the Brescia players couldn’t do this, but the rebound from Shkriniar’s foot, who had lain in a late tackle against Bisoli, who shot from an acute angle, turned out to be irresistible for Handanovich.

Just at this point, the guests' players had already managed to celebrate the magnificent ball to Romelu Lukaku, who, in the best tradition, picked up the move from the right flank, shifted to the central zone, and sent a ball from the outside of the penalty area to the left.. It was really spectacular, but Inter was clearly not added strength. So there were moments already in the compensated time at Matri and Balotelli, however, the execution of punches from the immediate proximity to the goalkeeper was not of the best quality. Conte team won a victory in the next difficult match, but will there be enough “snakes” further? Is it time to apply deep rotation, because soon to go to Dortmund?

In the next round of the national championship Brescia will hold an away match against Verona, and Inter Milan will go to visit Bologna.
