Nepogodov was born in Ukraine and made the first football moves in Kiev.
For a long time, Dmitry played for the Ukrainian clubs - Metalurh Donetsk and Vorskla, while at the dawn of a career, even in French Marseille.
However, in 2017, Nepogodov moved to Kazakhstan Tobol, after which he decided to take local citizenship, as the goalkeeper reported at the end of last summer.
On the eve Dmitry made his debut for the national team of Kazakhstan. The goalkeeper was released in the first team for the match against Georgia, which ended in defeat for him with the score 1: 2.
It should be noted that according to the results of the group stage of the League of Nations, Georgia made its way into Division C.
