Josep Guardiola explained what is missing Manchester City to win the Champions League.

Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola answered questions from journalists on the eve of the match with Shakhtar in the Champions League.

"De Bruyne, Walker, Mendy? They came. And they came because they are ready to play ".

"Start a team in the Premier League and the Champions League? I'm pleased. In the championship we started well. Even where we lost points, we looked pretty good. As for the Champions League - also not bad, except for the first 45 minutes of the match with Lyon. The players are still motivated, every day we look after them in training and draw conclusions ".

“What did you say after playing with Lyon? I said I need to learn to learn lessons. Is always. It seems to you that you have achieved something, you are stars, have won the championship. It’s very easy to lose it all, lose it, and climb to the top again. ".

“Is Manchester City ready to win the Champions League? I just want to say this is my feeling. We are not ready yet. Desire alone is not enough.

We need experience, certain events, joint actions, the wishes of fans, the press, the president, players. Everything must be combined. For now, I repeat, we are not ready yet, but we are really good. Champions League - a very serious competition. With each step we will be getting closer ".

"When? 5-10 years old. I hope that soon we will be very close to this, "said Guardiola.

Match Miner - Manchester City will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd. Beginning at 22:00.

On football. ua will be available text online broadcast of the match.
