Roman Sanzhar’s successor as head coach Olimpik became Vyacheslav Shevchuk - the official website of the Donetsk club reported.
Shevchuk’s assistants were Ruslan Rotan, Vladimir Savchenko (goalkeeping coach) and Anton Dyachenko (physical training coach).
The new coaching staff began work on Wednesday, October 3, and will prepare Olympic for the match against Dynamo in the 11th round of the UPL championship, which will be held on October 7.
Vyacheslav Shevchuk completed his playing career in 2016 and since then managed to get a UEFA coaching diploma of PRO category. Olympic will be the first coaching experience for the ex-player of Shakhtar and the national team of Ukraine.
