In the match of the sixth round of Serie A, Genoa defeated Chievo 2-0.

At the end of the first half, the score in the match was opened by the “griffon” striker Krzysztof Piontek, who five minutes earlier received a yellow card for a simulation in the opponent’s penalty box.

However, the young Pole did not get away with only one warning. The Series A Disciplinary Committee decided to fine Piontek on two thousand euros.

In the current season Pontec spent for Genoa five matches in the Italian Championship, in which he scored six goals, being Serie A top scorer.

Earlier it was reported that Bavaria is watching the performances of Pyontek, who repeated the scoring achievement of Andrei Shevchenko.
