Fabrizio Ravanelli - no longer the coach of the capital's Arsenal, and this is already a fact. For two months of stay at the helm of the "gunners" gray-haired Italian managed to firmly enter the life of fans of the Ukrainian championship and, undoubtedly, managed to leave a definite trace in our football. True, this same trace was more concerned with the emotional component. Still would. For some reason, the modest Ukrainian club, especially since it was actually recreated anew, was headed by the legendary football player, whose name is known all over the world. In the 90s of the last century Juventus with a pair of charismatic forwards Vialli - Ravanelli for a while dictated fashion in European fields. And in general, Italian football, for obvious reasons, in Ukraine has always been quoted high.

But we digress. It's about Ravanelli's trainer. And this, as it turned out, is a very contradictory substance. Judge for yourself. The mentoring experience of a 49-year-old specialist was measured, in fact, only by an unsuccessful attempt to work with the more than modest French Ajaccio. And even then, five years have passed since time immemorial. After that, at a high level, the Italian did not work. And with such a meager baggage Ravanelli went to conquer the unknown Ukraine.

However, it is unlikely that someone from the leadership of Arsenal initially expected from Senator Fabrizio a host of new coaching ideas and miracles in the form of quick results. The calculation, of course, was more fashion. In the end, it was partly justified. Surely thanks to the Italian about the Kiev Arsenal, someone in Europe generally heard for the first time ... Regarding the football itself, it was more difficult. Verified and deduced the team in the elite Sergei Litovchenko pointed to the door, and Ravanelli virtually from scratch started to sculpt a new Arsenal. For this, several dozen (!) Potential debutants passed through the viewing crucible, of which the coaching staff selected a couple of dozen lucky ones.

This staffing rate immediately began to cause doubts. Most new legionnaires hitherto had only minimal experience of matches at a high level. Neither give nor take - continuous nounays. In addition to them from the neighboring Dynamo in bulk were leased several players at once, some of which immediately got a place in the starting lineup. The first results only confirmed all possible fears. The defeat was replaced by a new defeat, the expressive Ravanelli shuffled endlessly the line-up, and Arsenal became more and more deeper into the viscous quagmire of the standings. Already at the end of summer, there were first talks about the possible resignation of an Italian specialist, but the leadership did not even hint at any possible changes. The level of the game, they say, is improving, and the results will soon come - will not go anywhere ... Premier victory came only in the sixth round, when the guests were sensationally beaten by the Carpathians (1: 2). There was no further breakthrough. A week later, the positive changed to a humiliating home 0: 5 from Dawn, and it became obvious that change is inevitable. Did not make a break and break associated with the fights of the national teams. Ravanelli in the training process played the connection, rearranged the players positional, but there was little use. The minimum defeat in Chernigov was replaced by a sensitive home slap from Olympique (1: 3), after which the mentor announced his retirement. At the same time, the paradox, but the general director of Arsenal, Alexander Moskalenko, during the last week made desperate attempts to dissuade the coach from the boiling decision. It was just before the game with Olimpic.

Whatever it was, the sports outcome of Ravanelli's work in our country is disappointing. Seven (!) Defeats in nine games with one victory and one draw - otherwise, as a failure, you can not evaluate. However, there are some "buts". "I came here with great enthusiasm, but, unfortunately, I had to deal with a reality that was becoming more complex and has recently reached a critical level. In the Arsenal there is not even a minimal organization that a professional club should have. We came to a situation where players every day came to me with a complaint about non-payment of salaries ... "- these words described the current state of affairs Ravanelli after the last defeat. And this has every reason to believe. So the blame for the current failure of the "Gunners" Italian can safely divide, at least, with the club management ... For the sake of justice, and the mentor himself is not unbeneficial. What are only the decision to refer to the double striker Denis Balanyuk, and the leased from the Belgrade Partizan Yuri Vakulko coach supposedly was completely unknown. Miracles, and only ... And yet, let's not forget about the positive aspects. First of all, for Ukrainian football fans. Matches Arsenal in the capital's stadium Dynamo collected not so impressive army of spectators, but those who still came - did this in large part because of the presence of Ravanelli on the coaching bench ... On which the Italian almost did not sit down, throughout the game actively gesticulating and dancing at the very edge of the technical zone. Sometimes it seemed that the eyes of the stands are far less directed to the field than to the artistic coach. Yes, and the emotions after the rare goals scored by his charges, at least, deserve repeated viewing on YouTube.

In addition to the above, the Italian amazed his openness, not denying anyone selfie or the coveted autograph that has often been seen after the matches. I was also touched by the fact that at the first home game of Arsenal the Ravanelli family arrived almost in full force, which clearly shows Fabrizio's long-term plans for work in Ukraine. It did not work out ... And yet Ravanelli has already left a certain mark in our football. He was in itself a phenomenon. Interesting and contradictory. Like all our long-suffering football.
