The Ukrainian team held an open training session at the Lviv Arena in preparation for the second round match of the League of Nations against Slovakia.
Because of UEFA sanctions, the fight with the Slovaks will pass without spectators, and the atmosphere of empty stands was felt by the players already during the pre-match training. Nevertheless, as Andriy Shevchenko assured at the press conference, all the players are focused on tomorrow's game.
Yesterday it was raining in Lviv, but the team conducted an open training session under comfortable weather conditions and in the composition that returned to Ukraine from the Czech Republic, in addition to the injured Evgeni Khacheridi. Note that the classes were visited by the first vice-president of FFU Nazar Kholodnitsky.
While the field players performed physical exercises and worked without the ball, the goalkeepers of the national team Andrey Pyatov and Andrei Lunin were actively engaged in the care of the goalkeeper coach Pedro Haro.
In addition to football players, before the match in the Arena Lviv, a fan zone is being prepared, the installation of which began the day before. On the day of the game from 14:00 she will receive all our fans who want to support the national team.
