One Croat and two Frenchmen will contest the title of the best coach of the year by FIFA.

The shortlist of candidates for the title of the best coach by the FIFA version included three people: Zlatko Dalich, Zinedine Zidane and Didier Deschamps.

Deschamps, together with the French team won the World Cup. This victory was for the "tricolor" second on the mundials - 20 years ago Deschamps became the world champion as a player.

Zlatko Dalich took Croatia before the crucial matches of the selection for the World Cup and managed not to miss the second line in the group, and then brought the "checkers" to the World Cup. There, the team reached the finals, where France lost.

Zinedine Zidane together with Real won the Champions League third time in a row, but failed in the championship and the Cup of Spain.
