Ex-England midfielder David Beckham received a special award from the President of UEFA.

Legendary midfielder David Beckham is awarded with a special award from UEFA President Alexander Cheferin.

As Cheferin noted, the former England player "uses the power of football to help disadvantaged children".

Beckham became the 18th owner of the UEFA Presidential Awards. Among the previous holders are Francesco Totti, Paolo Maldini, Alfredo Di Stefano, Bobby Robson, Eusebio, Raymond Kopa, Franz Beckenbauer and Johan Cruyff.
