Head coach of FC Lviv Yuri Bakalov commented on the match against Mariupol.

My team played decent football today. But we played two completely different halves. In the first half, when there were forces and the team fled, we did a lot. No offense to Mariupol, but in the first 25 minutes we had to close the game. In the second half, there was not enough function somewhere,. You all saw perfectly well that we sat down, and Mariupol, as we warned the guys, was playing with a power focus. Probably, we did not have enough functions today in order to achieve victory. Let us not anger God, the result is what it is.

- What result did you expect when you went to Mariupol?.

- We from guys demanded the maximum result. And we, and Mariupol are at the bottom of the standings, so it was a game for 6 points. The team that won, would immediately go up. Therefore, naturally, we expected to win. And, as you saw in the first half, we were striving for victory. We did not fight back, but tried to play the football that we work on in training. I think that today was a decent game.

- You said that your team lacks strengths. Maybe that's why the bet was made on the first half?.

- The calculation was not only on the first half. It was impossible to say that we are playing the first half, and the second is not. We tried to play our football and in the second half. But somewhere after the break, there was not enough speed that we had in the first half. The foundation, which was laid in the off-season, was. I, probably, do not have to speak ethically about this - after all, I just came and in fact conducted three trainings. There was a very difficult exit. Everybody drives like that, but we still need to add that we spent almost a day on the bus. During these one and a half day they tried to shake the guys, prepare. The first half showed that we acted correctly. But there is a certain human resource above which you can not jump. Therefore in the end we sat down and it became easier for Mariupol to open our defense.

And Mariupol, who played power football, began to use our oversights.

- Before the game you said that Mariupol is not in its place in the standings. And what place is Mariupol?.

- It's better to ask the coaching staff and the leadership of Mariupol. I know this team well. Experienced, qualified players are gathered in Mariupol, so I said that the team is out of place.
