UEFA considers the possibility of introducing a video assistant of the referee in the most prestigious European club tournament.

The VAR system has proved itself very well at the last World Championship, where thanks to it, a number of controversial episodes.

According to The Times, now the implementation of this technology is thought in UEFA.

Until the end of the month there will be a meeting of the executive committee of the organization, at which the final decision regarding the VAR in the current season can be made.

Also, the use of the video assistant of the referee for the forthcoming Euro 2020 is being discussed, but so far this issue has not been finally resolved.
