Sergei Rebrov will be the new head coach of Ferencvaros, reports Nemzeti Sport.
According to the source, the parties have already agreed everything, and the appointment of a 44-year-old Ukrainian will be announced on Wednesday, August 22.
The last place of work Rebrov was the Saudi Al-Ahli, where he worked for less than a year and from where he was fired in April. In addition Rebrov twice became the champion of Ukraine as head coach of Dynamo.
After five rounds Ferencvaros scored 13 points and leads the tournament table of the Hungarian championship, but the former head coach Thomas Doll left his post after five years at the helm of the team by mutual consent of the parties.
