Chelsea stepped up the search for a new technical director.
Chelsea is finally ready to appoint a replacement for Michael Emenalo, who left the post of technical director of the club back in November 2017.
According to the Guardian, the list of applicants includes technical director of the Football Association Dan Ashworth, former players of the "blue" Michael Ballack and Juliano Belletti, as well as sports director Roma Monchi, who claims and Manchester United.
Recall that since the departure of Emenalo all football operations in the London club engaged Marina Granovskaya.
In the summer transfer window, Chelsea's lineup was joined by goalkeepers Rob Green and Kep Arrisabalaga, who became the most expensive goalkeeper in history, as well as midfielders Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.
