Will Lazio win or lose from the too high price set for Sergei Milinkovich-Savich?.

Possible withdrawal from Lazio Serbian midfielder Sergei Milinkovich-Savich was almost the most anticipated transfer of the current off-season. For 23-year-old football player lined up those who dreamed of buying it (or, at least, were of interest): Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, ??PSG, Juventus, Milan and a dozen other less active and less Potential potential buyers.

And here is the solvency? Yes, while the president of Lazio Claudio Lotito immediately broke the price of Milinkovich-Savich 150 million euros. At the same time, Lotito always tries to impress the very tough negotiator who does not make concessions, and then supports this image (or reality?) With all his might, so the proposed 80, 90, 100 and even 130 million do not produce it, at least - visible, impression. In his place, another of his Italian counterparts, with whom it is very difficult to deal with - President Napoli Aurelio De Laurentiis - if it were not for the desire to sell someone, would bring to everyone the constant shifts in position, price changes by provocative statements, Lotito stands like a stone wall.

The position is quite logical from the point of view of aspiration if not to save one of the leaders of the team, then at least how it should be earned on it. However, there is an opinion that Sergei is not so good, it seems, and after the supernatural season may well begin to decline. As arguments, the supporters of this position lead not to the very memorable game of Milinkovich-Savich in the national team of Serbia at the 2018 World Cup, and the fact that he holds his most vivid games in fights with not the strongest rivals, but in confrontation with the "grandees" of him at the field is almost invisible.

The following conclusion is extremely simple: to sell right now for the maximum bid, so as not to be in a situation similar to what happened to Felipe Anderson. Last summer Lotito offered for the Brazilian 75 million euros, but this amount did not suit President Lazio, who dreamed of 100 million. As a result, a year later Anderson goes to West Ham for 40. Compared with the 7.5 million for which Felipe was bought five years ago, the profit seems solid, but it could be twice as much ... You can recall even more vivid examples of Lothito's obstinacy, which cost dearly "eagles" and not a cent - to others clubs: Stefan de Vrey or even earlier Goran Pandev, for whom President Lazio also demanded unrealistic money and who eventually left the club as free agents.

If we consider the situation from a sporting point of view, then, of course, for Lazio it will be better if Sergei remains in the team. For three seasons in Rome, he perfectly fit into it, is one of the favorites of typhosi and coach Simone Inzaghi (who, however, believes that even without the Serbian Lazio in case of what will cost), and really plays a very important role in the team. If we talk about business, then, of course, we must sell it. With all due respect to the capabilities and talent of the Serbian, 150 million euros is too high a price for him. Perhaps it really is not worth and 100 million, although a fairly young age and the prospect of growth in terms of skill give a chance that investments in it will bring in the end the buyer dividends, but still it is a risk.

Probably, in such a situation Roma would not doubt a single second. Despite the fact that the "wolves" fiercely criticized the sale of Mohamed Salah and then Alisson Becker to Liverpool, but for the owner of Roma American James Pallotta in the first place business, and if he can earn on the acquired for 20 million euros Egyptian 50 million, and on bought for 8 million Brazilian "shopkeeper", who loudly announced himself only in the past season, 62 million, he does it.

Most likely, Milinkovich-Savich still remain in Lazio.

In the Premier League shuttle closed, Luka Modric, as the media assure, agreed a new contract with Real Madrid, and in Milan or Juventus Lotito Sergei will not want to sell, so as not to increase potential competitors in the fight for places at the top of the standings. In the current summer off-season, another transfer bomb will not burst, in anticipation of which the media lived (like the departure of Neimar from PSG, Harry Kane of Tottenham or Paul Pogba of Manchester United).

However, the transfer window is not yet closed, and while with an absolute guarantee it is impossible to say what will happen to Sergei: will he be too expensive to leave, or too good to stay.
