Coach Man City Pep Guardiola did not like the statement that Argentina could not afford it because of high wages.

The president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), Claudio Tapia, said he wanted to persuade Pep Guardiola to replace Jorge Sampaoli at the head of the national team. However, it turned out to be impossible because of the inability of APA to pay Pepe the same salary as Man City pays.

"I'm slightly disappointed, because the president of the AFA can not say that he could not agree with Guardiola because of his great salary," said Pep.

"For this he must know the size of my salary.

And secondly, he should know that I understand that when you work in a team, it's a completely different approach. And thirdly, most importantly, no one contacted me ".

"And one more thing: to coach the team of Argentina, the coach must be Argentine. They have a lot of very good coaches, so I'm not going to coach Argentina ".

Guardiola last May signed a new three-year contract with Manchester City.

In the first round of the Premier League "townspeople" will play against Arsenal on August 12.
