FIFA gave permission to Saido Beraino to play for the national team of Burundi - reports BBC.
The 25-year-old striker was born in Burundi, but almost all his life he lived in the UK, playing for the England U-16 (4 games, 3 goals), U-17 (12, 6), U-18 (2, 2), U -19 (11, 3), U-20 (7, 0) and U-21 (11, 10). In 2015, Beraino applied to FIFA for a change of football citizenship and, finally, received a positive response.
Beraino played for West Bromwich (121 matches in all tournaments, 36 goals), Northampton (15, 6), Brentford (8, 4), Peterborough (10, 2) and Stoke City (30, 0).
