Ex-defender Deportivo Sydney da Silva signed a contract with Betis.

Sydney da Silva signed a four-year contract with Betis - the official website of the Seville Club.

"Verdiblancos" paid for the 28-year-old central defender 4.5 million euros Deportivo, who three years ago laid out for the Brazilian Benfica 2 million more.

In the season-2017/2018 Sydney spent 22 matches in all tournaments for Deportivo and scored 1 goal.
