The Ukrainian Premier League has published changes to the regulations regarding the procedure for determining the places in the table of the championship of Ukraine.
Among other things, the Golden Match returns.
Extract from the Regulations of the All-Ukrainian football competitions among teams of Ukrainian Premier League clubs of the season 2018/19:.
Article 22. Determination of team places in competitions 1. For the victory in the matches the team is awarded three points, for a draw - one point, for the defeat points are not charged.
The team places are determined by the number of points scored in all matches.
In case of equality of points for two and / or more teams, the teams' places are determined by the following indicators:.
more points scored in personal meetings between these teams;.
the best difference between goals scored and conceded between these teams;.
more goals scored between these teams;.
the best difference between goals scored and conceded in all matches;.
more goals scored in all matches.
If the indices indicated in. 3 of this article, to determine the winner of the championship, a "Golden Match" is held, in other cases, the teams' places are determined by a lot drawn by the Directorate.
The decision on the venue and time of the start of the Golden Match is made by the Directorate.
The Golden Match organizes and conducts the ULP. All media, advertising and other commercial rights associated with the holding of this match belong to the ULP. The host team is determined by drawing lots, which is conducted by the Directorate.
If the main time of the Golden match ends in a draw, then additional time is assigned (2 halves for 15 minutes). If additional time ends in a draw, then a series of 11-meter beats is assigned.
The corresponding changes took effect with the beginning of the 2018/19 season. Note that the Golden match was canceled before the season 2014/15.
