Milan and Salzburg entered into negotiations for Malian midfielder Dyadi Samassek.
According to RMC Sport, Milan hopes to sign Samassek cheaply. This is due to the fact that the midfielder's contract expires next summer.
Transfermarkt assesses the 22-year-old Samassecu at 18 million euros.
Last season, Dyadi helped Salzburg reach the semifinals of the Europa League, where the team lost to Marseille.
