Defender Pepe can become another Portuguese in Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton is interested in acquiring the central defender of Besiktas and the Portuguese national team Pepe, reports A Bola with reference to Fanatik.
According to the Turkish publication, "wolves" offer for a 35-year-old Pepe 7 million euros.
The defender has another year under contract with Besiktas.
Wolverhampton will have to hurry with the transfer, because the transfer window in England this season will bury August 9.
The "wolves" are already played by eight Portuguese: goalkeeper Rui Patriciu, defender Ruben Vinagre, midfielders Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Pedro Goncalves, as well as forwards Elder Costa and Ivan Cavalire. They are trained by the Portuguese Nuno Santo.
