Today, the House of Football hosted the awarding of "miners" for the victory in the championship of Ukraine 2017-2018.

During the event the floor was taken by FFU President Andrei Pavelko.

"I want to thank the leadership of the ULP headed by Thomas Grimm, who proposed to hold the first time awarding in this format and at the same time to sum up the results of the last season for our champion".

"I would like to congratulate the Miner and his leadership - Rinat L. Akhmetov, who puts his soul and heart in the development of the club. I also want to wish that the next championship Shakhtar celebrated at Donbass Arena in Ukrainian Donetsk ".

"Today we have the opportunity to best represent Ukraine in the Champions League. We always expect the "miners" to improve last year's result and expect that he will reach Spain - before the final match of the season ".

"The victory in several consecutive raffles of the championship and the national cup is a historical result, which is given only by the strongest and most courageous.
