Midfielder of the national team of Ukraine U19 Alexey Hakhlev spoke about the start of the European Championship.

In the starting match of the European Championship U19 the national team of Ukraine defeated France - 2: 1.

"First of all, we won at the expense of boundless self-giving, desire and faith in each other," said Khakhlev.

"It is important that we very well studied the French. They have fast players in the attack, so their attacks had to be brought to blows, not to let the opponent run out in counterattacks.

Since the technique of French performers are not deprived, it was necessary to act in a compact manner in defense, to insure each other. And, of course, do not forget about your counter-raids ".

"In the first half we often played without the ball, and this is more difficult. But it seemed to me that despite all its authority, the French were afraid of us, especially after we opened the account. But in general the match took away a lot of physical and moral strength ".

The Ukrainian national team U19 will play their next matches against England (July 20) and Turkey (July 23).
