Last season, Andrea was the main striker of Atalanta, but the signing of Duvan Zapata led to the fact that the Italian was forced to find a new team.
According to the official website of SPAL, the club rented Petany for a period of one year.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, however, according to media reports, the rent cost 3 million euros. At the same time, the contract stipulates the option of the subsequent repurchase of the player for 12 million euros.
Last season, Petagna scored 4 goals and 5 assists in 29 Serie A games.
